Time To Explore

It’s been awhile since I’ve written here. I don’t necessarily think that’s a bad thing, although my first inclination is to feel guilty for it.

I’ve grown a lot in the past months - graduating from college, moving to California, working at Olark. I’ve also gone through a couple girlfriends. It’s funny how much just living life can change you. It’s nothing you have to try to do, it happens whether you like it or not.

Not writing for awhile has given me a lot of space to process all the change. I’ve just been soaking it in, not trying to immediately extract any lesson from it. There’s plenty of time to do that in the months to come as the novelty of my new situation starts to fade.

When I talk about novelty fading, it makes it sound like I’m settling into a new routine, where nothing really changes and all is back to normal. Nothing could be further from the truth. I feel more like I just landed in a spaceship, and now the dust is finally settling and I’m ready to step out and start exploring. So many brilliant people to meet, projects to start, ideas to debate, things to see. Yes, I’m just getting started.
